A number of pages for Natural Persons will feature a button that allows users to Request Client Update to refresh their KYC documents. Those requests will initiate the following popup that allows the user to specify which parts of the KYC Services or Documents to request from the client.
In the general settings, users can select the domain associated to the request and edit the email subject and message from the default. The client email field is not editable and carried from the personal information when the client was added as a Natural Person.
Select here the specific type of request, or enable all of them.
Request documents proving the Entity’s identity. Users can elect to run data validation by toggling on the ‘Run Identity Data Validation’ button.
Users can also elect to auto-assign the client response to a specific user within the platform. In the Personal and Address information dropdown, users can select to either Pre-Fill the Form and ask the client to confirm the information or have the client fill it out.
Users can also require a proof of address document be included by selecting the accompanying toggle button. This will appear in the KYC profile documents section.
Document Authentication will only be available if it is configured in the portal. This will verify a client’s form of ID. Currently accepted are passport, drivers license and identity card.
Users can elect different options with the toggle buttons, including auto accepting the identity document, requiring 2 pieces of ID and auto assigning to a particular user within the platform upon the client’s response. In this example, we can see an existing request get overridden by the user.
Biometric Authentication aims to identify clients are who they say they are through liveness testing or selfie uploads, though liveness testing is more secure. Face Match Type will be preselected by portal configuration settings. The options in the portal are:
Live face match
Selfie upload
Live face match with fallback to selfie
Users can select to auto accept the biometric results and auto assign the result to a particular user. If ‘Auto-Accept if No Issues are Found with Biometric Authentication’ is toggled on, that will also enable the automation section further down in the pop up.
Supporting documents can also be requested. However for these to be available, they must be set up in the portal before the section will appear when clicking the ‘Request Client Update’ button. Users will need to define document type in the Administration/Supporting Documents (+Add Document Type) section. Then, submit a support ticket indicating for the iComply internal administration team to make the document available.
Users can select multiple documents in the same request by clicking the ‘+Add Row’ button.
Users can elect to add an AML Case from the results of the request. They can select the particular risk screening profile, set the case for daily monitoring and close the case if there are no matches found. Read more about cases here.
In the automation section, users can elect for recurring review to go out automatically in a selected time frame and set the profile status, as well as the risk level. To enable the Automation section, the ‘Auto-Accept if No Issues are Found with Biometric Authentication’ button must be toggled on in Biometric Authentication within the KYC Requests section.
Users can leave a comment to be logged within the Natural Person page once the request is submitted. Refresh the screen to view changes.
